The first Spinach and Bok Choy are here!

Although we’ve had snow today, the warm weather earlier this month has produced lovely spring greens for all of us to enjoy. We’re well stocked with spinach, Bok Choy, kale, young beets, chard, cabbage, celery, leeks and radishes.

Feb 10 FRESH RABBIT, FRESH GREENS!

FRESH PICKED
Black Kale
Red Kale
Young Beets
Rainbow Chard
Cabbage
Collards

Free Fresh Rosemary to go with fresh rabbit or we have frozen duck.  Don’t forget potatoes, onions, squash & cheese.  Ask about jelly spreads that make divine glazes.  Rosemary & the plum spread go great on duck or rabbit.  I use red & black kale with collards for a great salad.  Remove the stems (save for soup).  Cut leaves with scissors into thin strips to make your salad fluffy.   Add a can of your favorite bean like kidney beans or garbanzo beans.  Take left over fruit spread such as plum, add olive oil, black pepper & balsamic vinegar and wa la salad dressing.
Pick up some lovely flowers too.  The first of our daffodils are here, we also have pansies and primroses.

Email me if you need more information on the recipes or other ideas.
